Judy and I have been best friends since college- almost 15 years ago. To some, we might be an odd couple, but to us, our friendship makes a lot of sense. Judy is an account specialist in NY, I a marketing manager in Florida, and like most friends, we get together as often as we can.

One day at the beach, we got tired of browsing through magazine after magazine looking for the latest trends only to discover that we couldn’t afford them on our paltry budgets anyway – we’re pretty sure you’ll agree and thus, our blog was borne…

By some odd twist of economic fate, we both lost our jobs and are currently unemployed. If the mother of invention is necessity, now seemed like as good a time as any to get going on our blog.

So, here’s the deal.

We’re going to scour the web, print, anything we can find for current fashion trends, then we’ll show you where to get them (or something like them) for a lot cheaper than your entire paycheck. Help us out and join in on the fun- either send us your favorite fashion trend and the bargain alternative, or post tips to help us get going. Either way, this is not a one-way blog, we need YOU to help make it work. Welcome!
